Initial Appointments
First treatments are approximately 60 to 90 minutes in length and a full history, physical assessment and treatment are done during this time. The examination is performed from a traditional western approach, a full musculoskeletal, neurologic and TCVM view. A treatment will be done following evaluation and will include those deemed appropriate for the patient. They may include acupuncture, chiropractic, post-visit instructions, and possible herbal prescriptions and nutritional advice.
Follow-up Appointments
Follow-up exams will usually last 30 minutes. The frequency of follow-up visits will vary based on the condition(s) being treated, but they are usually weekly to start and are decreased after 4-6 sessions or after a positive response is seen and is maintained between sessions.
