- Please reschedule if you have symptoms consistent with COVID or a known exposure to an infected person
General Policies
- New patient forms should be submitted at least 24 hours prior to your appointment to allow time for Dr. Hartai to review your pet’s medical history
- Text reminders are sent out one day prior to your appointment
- Please call, text, or email any changes or cancellations at least 24 hours in advance
- Cell phones and other devices must be on silent mode while in the office
- Please bring a blanket or towel from home for your pet’s comfort and use during treatment
- We accept cash, credit cards and personal checks. Please make sure to have your payment method with you and easily accessible
- Please arrive a few minutes early to allow your pet time to walk and potty prior to appointment time
- To help facilitate a positive experience for your pet we provide tasty beef liver treats during treatments. If your pet has special diet needs, please bring an appropriate treat to allow for positive reinforcement
- Video and audio recording during treatment is not allowed without express permission, and then only for personal use. We do encourage you to take photos of your pet during treatment and tag us on social media
House Call Policies
- House call appointment times are approximate, being influenced by traffic and other factors
- You will be given a 30 minute arrival window the day before your house call and then updated more closely on the day of
- Other pets in the house are welcome to be present during treatments as long as they are not disruptive or distracting to the patient
- House call treatments require a quiet, comfortable area where your pet can relax and be still for the duration of the treatment. This usually means turning off the TV, stereo and other distractions, having a non-slip surface to perform the examination and treatment.
